Ingredients
- 1 Pack (400 grams) glutinous rice flour
- 2 Packs (115 grams) Ube powder
- 2 ½ Cups of water
- Brown sugar
- Banana leaves
- Grated coconut

- 2 pcs bamboo tube (bumbong)

Method
- Get your steamer ready to steam with just the right amount of water. Boil water and cover.
- In a big enough mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour and ube powder. Make sure to mix well.
- Add water little by little til this combination turns to dough. Combine in a kneading motion til it’s smooth.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the dough. Using your hands, roll into a round and long shape, about 4 to 5 inches long.
- Smear butter in a heat-resistant plate and arrange the dough evenly, side-by-side. Steam for about 4 minutes or until soft.
- Using a pastry brush, generously smear butter on top again and roll in dessicated coconut , topping it off with brown sugar.
